About the Architects
The design and development process is being led by firms chosen for their skills and track records in creating innovative designs to improve patient care, accommodate rapid changes in technology and develop healing environments adaptable to 21st century advances in modern medicine.
Stanford Hospital & Clinics has selected the internationally recognized firm of Rafael Viñoly Architects. Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital has chosen the award-winning Perkins+Will. In addition, the firm of Lee, Burkhart, Liu, Inc. will work in association with Rafael Viñoly on the Stanford Hospital project, while Hammel, Green and Abrahamson, Inc. will work with Perkins+Will on the Packard Children’s expansion. Kohn Pedersen Fox is the concept design architect for the Packard Children’s expansion.
